For the weekend
The picturesque slope is not only a beautiful viewing terrace of the broad Vistula River reaching the horizon but also the witness to the cultural and historical wealth of the city. At the Tumskie Hill a cathedral and a castle were built. Here is where Władysław Herman and Boleslaus the Wry-Mouthed had their seat and Płock was then the capital of Poland.
This view of the river, glittering between the broad plains of Mazovia, was an inspiration to the builders who erected a city that was beautiful and proud, taking deep breaths of wide streets and charming tenement houses.
Today all admire the beautiful panorama in Płock and remarkable sunsets over the Vistula River, perfect for those in love. Guests may participate in numerous festivals, among others,: of electronic music or reggae, see shows air, cruise down the Vistula River on a boat or a motor boat, visit the Old Town by the Tumska Ciuchcia (Steam-engine train) or go to the zoo with their children. They can seek a moment of silence in numerous churches and the Saint Faustina sanctuary. Here everyone will find plenty of attractions but also a place for a moment of reflection.
